Baird Linke has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in religious and educational organizations. Baird currently serves as the Research Director - Compelling Preaching, Transformed Listeners Initiative at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Prior to this, Baird was a Graduate Student at Wartburg Theological Seminary. Baird also served as the Director of Community Engagement and Faith Formation at Calvary Lutheran Church. Baird has experience as an Innovation Coach at Augsburg University, where they led congregations through coaching processes for sustainable cultural change. Baird also served as a Global Mission Volunteer at ELCA and as a Wilderness Coordinator at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp. Baird has additional experience as a Ministry Intern at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church and as a Sustainability Consultant at Sodexo. Baird held multiple roles, including Peer Minister, Peer Tutor, and Laboratory Leader, at Carroll College. Baird's work experience also includes serving as a Counselor at Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp.

Baird Linke holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Theology from Wartburg Theological Seminary, which was obtained from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, Baird attained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Spanish from Carroll College from 2013 to 2017. Baird's education started with a High School Diploma in General Studies from Helena High School, completed between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, Baird is a certified Blessed Tomorrow Climate Ambassador obtained in 2023 from Blessed Tomorrow institution.
