Gabi Pineda

Gabi Pineda has a diverse range of work experience in design roles. They began their career as a Production Artist at Javelin Agency in 2014 and quickly moved up to the position of Designer. At Javelin, Gabi collaborated with print vendors to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and worked on projects such as designing a website for a nonprofit organization.

In 2015, Gabi joined the Dallas Stars as a Designer, where they created print programs, advertisements, and jumbotron graphics for home games. They also conducted research on hockey-related topics to create designs that resonated with fans.

Moving on, Gabi worked at Southern Methodist University from 2017 to 2019 as a Senior Designer. They conducted research on competing universities and industries and developed concepts for a brand refresh. Gabi successfully convinced the university president to adopt a modern and inclusive brand and presented the new branding to faculty and staff.

Following their time at the university, Gabi worked at HKS, Inc. from 2019 to 2021 as a Designer. They transformed complex architectural concepts into visually appealing presentations and ensured the quality and accuracy of digital and print projects.

In 2021, Gabi joined IllumiNative Org as a Designer and later became the Creative Director. They played a crucial role in solidifying IllumiNative's brand across various mediums and collaborated with internal and external partners to meet project deadlines. Gabi's skills in written communication were also utilized for complex research projects, and they successfully persuaded a group of leaders to adopt new branding for a survey.
