Mark Kemp

Mark Kemp has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry. Mark started their career at GSK in 1993 as a CASE Industrial Placement. In 1994, they joined Pfizer as a Senior Medicinal Chemistry Team Leader, where they led teams and was involved in multiple drug candidate nominations. Mark worked at Pfizer for more than 16 years before joining Datamonitor in 2011 as a Senior Analyst. Later that same year, they moved to Mission Therapeutics as the Head of Chemistry. Mark also holds a Chemistry PhD from the University of Southampton, which they completed between 1991 and 1994, under the guidance of Professor Richard Whitby.

Mark Kemp attended the University of Southampton from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained a BSc (first class) degree and a PhD in Chemistry.
