Pau Aceves, MPharm, MSc, has several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Pau is currently the Head of Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics at Mission Therapeutics, where they lead the DMPK activities for the development of DUB inhibitors. Previously, Pau worked at Eisai EMEA as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology for the Neurology Business Group. Before that, they held positions at Certara, where they served as the Director of Strategic Consulting and Associate Director of Strategic Consulting, specializing in Clinical Pharmacology and Modelling & Simulation strategy. Pau also worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Clinical Pharmacologist, providing input on study design and protocol development. Pau began their career at Roche Pharmaceuticals as a Clinical Pharmacology Science Specialist. Prior to that, Pau worked as a Production Pharmacist at MANDEVILLE MEDICINES LIMITED and a Production and Clinical Pharmacist at the NHS. Pau also has experience as a Formulation Scientist at Laboratorios Kin S.A. and a Community Pharmacy Technician at Farmàcia Boquer. Pau started their career as an Analyst at the QC Department of Almirall. Their expertise includes clinical pharmacology, PK/PD modeling, and drug development strategy.
Pau Aceves, MPharm, MSc, completed a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree from Universitat de Barcelona from 1997 to 2002, with a focus on Pharmacy. Pau then pursued further education at The University of Manchester from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Modelling & Simulation, with a field of study in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (PKPD).
In addition to their formal education, Pau Aceves has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Pau completed various courses offered by DataCamp, including "Importing Data in R (Part 1)" and "Importing Data in R (Part 2)" in August 2017, "Exploratory Data Analysis Course in R" in May 2017, "Data Visualization in R Course" and "Data Visualization with ggplot2 (Part 1) Course" in April 2017, as well as "Intermediate R - Practice Course", "Intermediate R Course", and "Introduction to R" in April 2017. Pau also completed "Fundamentals of Pharmacokinetics (OD-103)" and "Population Modeling Using Phoenix NLME (OD-101)" courses offered by Certara in May and April 2017, respectively.
