Karolina Karr has a strong background in human resources and people management. Karolina is currently working as the Chief People Officer at MissionWired since May 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of CHRO and Circle Founding Member at The Circle by Founders Circle Capital since June 2021. From May 2021 to October 2022, Karolina served as the Chief People Officer at Zocdoc. Before joining Zocdoc, they were the Partner and Chief People Officer at Brunswick Group from October 2017 to March 2021. Karolina also has experience in the insurance industry, having worked as the Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) from October 2011 to September 2017, and as the Assistant Vice President, Holding HR at Allianz from July 2008 to October 2011. Karolina Karr holds a Master of Arts degree in American Literature from The University of Bonn, which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. Karolina pursued a Ph.D. in Political Science at Universität Erfurt, completing it from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Karolina earned a Certificate for International Students from Mount Holyoke College during the period of 1997 to 1998. In terms of additional certifications, they are currently pursuing the course "Executive Compensation: Strategies and Frameworks" offered by Emeritus, with the year of completion yet to be obtained.
