Julie Parks

Julie Parks is an experienced HR professional, currently serving as Director and Senior People & Culture Business Partner Lead at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan since October 2018. In this role, Julie advises senior technology and enterprise operations leaders, devises strategic workforce plans, and implements change management initiatives that align with organizational goals. Prior to this position, Julie held various roles at Scotiabank from November 2007 to October 2018, including Senior Manager of Human Resources Business Partner, where responsibilities included aligning HR practices with Digital Banking’s objectives and developing leadership strategies. Julie's earlier experience includes managing pension benefits and wellness projects at Scotiabank and working as a Human Resources Manager at ALTA COLLEGES INC. Julie holds an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado Denver and a B.S. in Journalism from Bowling Green State University.
