Bill Cork is the Chief Economic Development Officer at the MISSISSIPPI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY. Bill previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission from May 2016 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the Commission's economic development efforts, including leading the acquisition of 3,000 acres of land for industrial development.

Under Bill's leadership, the Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission achieved significant financial success. Annual operating revenue increased from $10,273,473 in 2019 to $16,501,292 in FY2019. The Commission's net position also increased from $82,387,778 in FY2017 to $91,297,223 in FY2019. In addition, all of the Commission's long-term liabilities were paid off in 2019.
