Kerrigan A. Clark

Graduate Assistant at Mississippi State University

Kerrigan A. Clark (she, her, hers) serves as the Graduate Assistant for Educational Outreach in the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion. In her role, she is primarily responsible for facilitating the planning and implementation of education outreach, including researching and creating workshops and educational initiatives as well as creating and conducting assessments with Qualtrics and Microsoft Excel. Kerrigan also facilitates marketing and informational outreach by collaborating on the creation of newsletters, website, social media, email, and other marketing pieces.

Kerrigan graduated from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in 2019. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mississippi State University in 2022. She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Policy and Administration at Mississippi State University.

Prior to joining the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion’s staff, Kerrigan interned with the Congressional and Political Research Center where she researched policy and major events from the early 1990s while also transcribing Congressman Sonny Montgomery’s weekly radio show. Kerrigan also interned at the Office of Student Leadership and Community Engagement; there, she produced engaging and creative content for print production using a variety of newswriting styles and techniques. Kerrigan worked with the nonprofit Starkville Strong to combat homelessness and food insecurity in the community. She served as the Life and Entertainment Editor for The Reflector, the MSU Student Newspaper. She was the social media coordinator for Fiber Arts Bulldawgs, a member of the Stennis Montgomery Association, and a barista at 929 Coffee Bar.
