Iman Yahyaie

Iman Yahyaie has a diverse background in both academia and business development. They have extensive experience in roles such as Director of Major Accounts and Director of Business Development at Mitacs, where they focused on fostering partnerships between post-secondary institutions and industry to drive private-sector R&D initiatives. They also managed relationships with key stakeholders, prepared executive reports, and worked closely with national agencies. Prior to their work at Mitacs, Iman held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Electrical Engineer at the University of Manitoba, where they coordinated projects related to the design and fabrication of novel memory structures and developed characterization tools for renewable energy applications. They also served as a Research Assistant at the Powering the Planet Center for Chemical Innovation at the California Institute of Technology. Overall, Iman's work experience demonstrates a strong background in research, project coordination, and business development in the innovation and academic sectors.

Iman Yahyaie's education history includes a Leadership Essentials Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Toronto. Later, Iman pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Manitoba in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tarbiat Modares University in 2007 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University in 2005.
