Natalie Netzel is an accomplished legal educator and practitioner with extensive experience in law and clinical legal education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law since August 2016, Natalie also directs the Clinical Legal Education Program and co-directs clinics at the institution. In addition to an extensive teaching and administrative role, Natalie is the Education and Advocacy Director at the Institute to Transform Child Protection and has held various positions including Staff Attorney and Adjunct Professor for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. Prior experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Minnesota Judicial Branch and judicial externships at both the United States District Court and the Office of the Public Defender. Natalie holds a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Master of Science in Education with a focus on School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin Superior, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hamline University.
