James C. Hale

James C. Hale is the current Director at Mitek Systems. James has held various positions at different companies throughout their career. James was previously the Senior Managing Partner and Head of the Financial Services Group at BancAmerica Securities (formerly Montgomery Securities). There, they advised major banks, insurance companies and others in the financial services industry on mergers and equity capital markets transactions, including numerous IPOs. James also co-founded the Montgomery Financial Fund (1982-4), an opportunistic bank investment fund which sought to capitalize on the deregulation of the banking industry. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of the Corporate Development Group at BankAmerica Corporation from January 1978 to December 1982.

James C. Hale has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
