Lluís de Las Heras

Lluís de las Heras, PhD, currently serves as Senior Manager of Research at Mitek Systems, a position held since October 2017, after previously working as Manager of Research and Senior Researcher at the same company. In addition, Lluís de las Heras is the Founder and CEO of Race4CAT, established in December 2016. Prior experience includes Project Manager at ICAR Vision, Editor Assistant for Electronic Letters in Computer Vision and Image Analysis, and Researcher at the Computer Vision Center, focusing on Identity Document Recognition. With a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, Lluís de las Heras specializes in Pattern Recognition for Structured Document Interpretation and completed a research internship at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree and Licentiate degree from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, along with an Erasmus program at Molde University College.
