Jorge Levera

Jorge Levera is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity and information privacy, currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security and Information Privacy at MITIC Paraguay since January 2024. With extensive experience at Millicom (Tigo) from August 2011 to December 2023, Jorge held roles such as Digital Development Manager and Latam Senior Architect, where initiatives included threat modeling of mobile applications and orchestrating the deployment of SMS antispam solutions. Previous positions include Software Engineer at Personal Paraguay and various university teaching roles in network technologies and data mining. Jorge's educational background includes an M.B.A. from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, an MSc. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a BS in Computer Science from Universidad Catolica.
