Ross Freshwater

Ross Freshwater is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as Director of Engineering at Mitratech since June 2024. Prior to this role, Ross held the position of Director of Engineering for HotDocs at CARET from August 2017 to August 2024, overseeing multiple cloud and on-premise products and managing four development teams. Ross's experience includes acting as Lead Developer at Origo Services Ltd, where a web-based email encryption tool was developed, and serving as Development Manager at HSBC with a focus on regulatory reporting software. Additionally, Ross worked at Rabobank as Technical Architect on credit risk systems and began the career at Barclays Capital as a Software Developer within their graduate program. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Technology and Business Studies with Computer Science and Accounting from the University of Strathclyde.
