Marty Holyfield

Marty Holyfield is an accomplished engineer with substantial experience in satellite communications and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Lead SATCOM Engineer for US Space Systems Command at MITRE since May 2021, Marty specializes in satellite ground systems engineering, antennas, and cyber security engineering. Previous roles include RF and Digital Sub-Systems Sr. Systems Engineer at Boeing Defense, C-17 Systems Engineer at Boeing Global Services, and Principal Systems Engineer at ThinKom Solutions, where expertise in satellite configurations and performance analysis was demonstrated. Marty’s background also includes significant contributions at Medtronic in software and systems engineering for diabetes management solutions, as well as leadership positions in previous roles at Northrop Grumman and VigilEye Security Systems. Marty holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California, obtained between 1979 and 1985.
