Jason Watterson

Jason Watterson is a Principal Systems Studies Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. since November 2021, following an extensive tenure at Hitachi ABB Power Grids from January 2013 to November 2021 where roles included Principal Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Consulting Engineer. In these positions, Jason performed various power system studies, developed models in EMT software, and specialized in harmonic impedance scans and subsynchronous resonance analyses. Prior experience includes roles as a Teaching/Research Assistant at North Carolina State University and internships at ABB, where Jason contributed to power system studies using PSCAD and MATLAB. Jason holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
