Ankush Chakrabarty is a Principal Research Scientist at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories since February 2018, previously holding positions as a Research Scientist and Visiting Research Scientist. Chakrabarty has also been a Senior Member of IEEE since October 2019. Prior to this, Chakrabarty was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from April 2016 to February 2018 and completed a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Purdue University from August 2011 to February 2016. Chakrabarty's research focuses on supervised learning-based explicit nonlinear model predictive control and unknown input estimation in biomedical systems and has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for ECE 308 at Purdue University. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jadavpur University (2007-2011) and postdoctoral studies at Harvard University.
