Anoop Cherian

Anoop Cherian is a highly experienced researcher and scientist currently serving as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories since October 2017, having also held the positions of Principal Research Scientist and Research Scientist there. Previously, Anoop worked as a Researcher at the Australian National University from March 2015 to September 2017, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at INRIA from November 2012 to January 2015. Anoop's earlier career includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities from September 2008 to October 2012, and a Research Intern at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Germany during the summer of 2010. Anoop began a professional career as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft Corporation from January 2005 to August 2007, contributing to the development team for Windows Vista. Anoop Cherian holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, and a B.Tech from the National Institute of Technology Calicut.
