Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories
Chiori Hori is a prominent researcher in the field of computer science, with a focus on spoken language communication. Currently, Chiori holds the position of Senior Principal Research Scientist at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, a role undertaken since April 2015, following advanced roles within the organization. Prior to this, Chiori served at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) from January 2007 to March 2015, where responsibilities included Research Manager of Spoken Language Communication Laboratories and Senior Research Scientist. Chiori's experience also encompasses a tenure as a Project Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University from 2004 to 2006 and as a Researcher at NTT Communication Science Laboratories from 2002 to 2004. Chiori earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the Tokyo Institute of Technology between 1999 and 2002.
