Sr. Research and Development Technician at MIVI Neuroscience

Ryan Thomas has been working in the medical device industry since 2010. Ryan started as a Temporary Assistant Assembler at Vascular Solutions and was responsible for injection molding catheter hubs and catheter tips in a CEA. Ryan then moved up to Medical Device Assembler I, where they were trained in GMP, CEA safety, and 5S standards. Ryan was then promoted to Medical Device Assembler III (Trainer) and then to Process Development Technician, where they applied lean thinking tools and 5S standards during product development to optimize manufacturing processes, eliminating waste and reducing cost. In 2017, they joined Teleflex as a Sr. Process Development Technician, where they currently support the Interventional Division of the Cardiac Care Process Development Engineering department in developing, optimizing and transferring processes and technologies for new products. In 2022, they joined MIVI Neuroscience, Inc as a Sr. Research and Development Technician.

Ryan Thomas attended Wayzata High School from 1999 to 2003, graduating with a High School degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies, General. Ryan then attended Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2003 to 2005, studying Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.
