Slava Babin

Slava Babin has been working in the software engineering field since 2007. In 2007, they worked as an Oracle Developer at UNISIM-SOFT SRL, where they were responsible for development and integration of ticket sales system, development of application for daily and month reports, and writing of documentation for the application.

In 2008, Slava Babin became the Head of IT Department at Tiraspol Bread Factory, JSC (700 employers). In this role, they managed an IT department of 16 persons and designed, integrated and developed ERP system UNA.md.

From 2011 to 2017, Slava Babin worked at Business Software, Ltd in various roles. Slava served as a Senior Software Developer and Team Leader, where they were responsible for maintenance and extension of current code and addition of new features, writing tests, and managing a team of 5 individuals. Slava also served as a C++, Oracle Developer, and Project Manager, where they were responsible for development of POS application, writing logic for work with different equipment, writing logic in PL/SQL using database links and materialized views, and implementing new logic for discount in POS system. Slava also developed ERP, ECM/docFlow and OMS systems, implemented new logic in client application, and made changes in user interface.

From 2017 to present, Slava Babin has worked at Mixbook as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer and Scrum Master. In this role, they have been responsible for implementing new features and products, developing an html photo editor, and working with different AWS services. Slava has also served as a Product Owner.

Slava Babin obtained a Master's Degree in Software Development Technologies from Shevchenko Transnistria State University between 2003 and 2008. Slava has also obtained several certifications, including Data Structures and Algorithms from Coursera in September 2020, Machine Learning from Coursera in January 2020, M101J: MongoDB for Java Developers from MongoDB University in March 2017, and M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers from MongoDB University in March 2017.
