Ren Kang

Ren Kang worked as the Head of R&D at Mixergy Ltd starting from July 2014. At Mixergy Ltd, Ren Kang introduced the intelligent Mixergy Tank to the market, which saves energy, time, and money by only heating what is needed. Additionally, the Mixergy Tanks contribute to renewable energy capacity for the National Grid. Prior to Mixergy Ltd, Ren Kang worked as a Project Engineer at Dill Air controls Products, LLC from July 2010 to July 2012.

Ren Kang has an extensive education history in engineering. They obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008. Subsequently, Ren studied at the University of Birmingham, earning another BEng degree, this time in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, from 2007 to 2008. They then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, at the University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2010. Ren's academic journey concluded with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, Ren holds a certification as a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate from Dassault Systèmes.
