Moses Lee

Moses Lee has a strong background in scientific research and programming. Moses has held various roles at the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, starting as a Program Director in 2013, then progressing to Senior Director of Scientific Research and Enrichment Programs in 2018, and currently serving as the Vice President of Scientific Research Grants and Programming. Prior to their work at the Trust, Lee was the Dean of Natural & Applied Sciences and a Professor of Chemistry at Hope College from 2005 to 2013. Before that, they were a Professor of Chemistry at Furman University from 1989 to 2005, where they taught courses in general, organic, and biochemistry and conducted research in biomedicinal chemistry and organic synthesis.

Moses Lee pursued their education at the University of Guelph, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry from 1979 to 1982. Moses then continued their academic journey at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry from 1983 to 1986.
