Jakob Cassiman

Jakob Cassiman is a machine learning engineer at ML6. Jakob previously worked as a graduate research intern at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science and Language Technologies Institute, where they worked on audio analysis for voice forensics with professors Rita Singh and Bhiksha Raj. This work resulted in a demo of the group's efforts to Interpol. Jakob also served as a teaching assistant for the graduate course 11-785 "Introduction to Deep Learning" by professor Bhiksha Raj.

Jakob Cassiman has a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science - Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven. Jakob is also certified from Google in Professional Data Engineer.

They are on a team with Maximilian Gartz - Machine Learning Engineer, Evangelia Oikonomou - Machine Learning Engineer, and Sören Erichsen - Machine Learning Engineer. Jakob Cassiman reports to Rebekka Moyson, Squad Lead & Data Engineer.
