Barry Jewson

Barry commenced his career in shipbuilding and repair as an engineering officer with P&O Group, before undertaking a Fleet Superintendent position in 1993. He then went on to reach the position of Senior Vessel Manager with P&O Nedlloyd in the company’s London and Rotterdam offices. In 1998, he transferred to Andrew Weir Shipping in London as Fleet Manager overseeing a varied fleet of Container, General Cargo and Passenger vessels and a fleet of Ice Class RORO, Product Carriers and Heavy Lift vessels. He was heavily involved with the build and management of the AWS Strategic RORO vessels built for the UK MoD. He relocated to Australia in 2003 where he became involved in the Offshore Industry and was WA Manager for Farstad Shipping before transferring to MMA Offshore as Fleet Operations Manager in 2013. With nearly 30 years of vessel management, Barry now manages all technical aspects of the global vessel fleet.
