Michel S. Kanaan

Michel S. Kanaan has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michel S. is currently serving as the Head of Commercial & Contracts at MMEC Mannesmann LLC, where their primary responsibilities include providing commercial guidance, supporting tender and bid proposal activity, and managing contractual agreements. Michel S. also works closely with business leaders and the CEO to identify opportunities and develop business strategies.

Prior to their current role, Michel held leadership positions at Al Jaber Energy Services, where they served as the Sr. Manager for Commercial and Projects Support. In this role, they oversaw projects such as the TAKREER RRW Restoration Works and the UZ750 ZADCO WI IP Project. Michel S. also previously worked as a Commercial/Contracts Manager on projects including the UZ750 ZADCO EPC-1 Project and the UZ750 ZADCO Early Civil Works Project.

Before joining Al Jaber Energy Services, Michel worked as a Regional Service Manager at GE, where they managed services in the UAE and Oman. Michel S. also gained experience as a Sr. Project Engineer at Bayanat Airports Engineering & Supplies and as a Project Engineer at Al Jaber Energy Services.

Early in their career, Michel worked as a Field Engineer at Mideast Data Systems. Overall, Michel has a strong background in commercial management, project support, and contract negotiation in the energy, engineering, and services sectors.

Michel S. Kanaan completed an Executive MBA - Cass Business School in Finance and Energy at City, University of London in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer & Communications Engineering from Notre Dame University - Louaize (NDU) in 2006. Michel S. also studied Computer Science at the American University of Beirut. In 2011, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
