Irene Röhrer

Irene Röhrer's work experience begins in 2018 when they worked on their specialist degree thesis at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. Irene conducted a study on the mechanical and functional characterization of two valve elements for an artificial endourethral sphincter. Irene optimized the production process of the chosen valve to meet ISO 13485 quality standards for medical devices.

In 2019, Irene became a "Borsista" at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and joined a research and development group working on an innovative biomedical device for the urological field. Irene was responsible for testing systems with integrated sensors, designing components using CAD software, and synthesizing materials. Additionally, they actively participated in the analysis and design process of the developed components to introduce improvements and protocol enhancements for ISO certifications.

Lastly, Irene joined MMI S.p.A. in 2020 as a Clinical Engineer, where they currently hold the role. No end date is specified for this position.
