Robotics Engineer

We are looking for a software developer in the robotics field who loves being a part of innovative, novel product development with the latest technology in the field of autonomous swarm robots and their lovely friends.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a reliable, adept, or eager-to-learn developer who is eager to break down large technical problems and solve them systematically.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing and applying new algorithms to our novel and shiny mobile platforms for dynamic path planning, autonomous safe maneuvers, object detection, and avoidance, etc.
• Conducting extensive research in a mobile robot, swarm robotics, sensor fusion, and control theory and making them into usable sub-modules
• Proofread, edit and improve our code base which is generally in Python or C++
• Cooperate and liaise with our mechanical and hardware team
• Comply with PEP8, Googler C++'s code style, Asimov's, and ethical guidelines
• Cooperate under Hacker and Agile manifesto
• Meet deadlines and stakeholders requirements

Requirements

• At least a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency in popular coding languages including Python, C, C++, Go, and frameworks or systems
• Be a Linux user at least in a virtual environment
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
