Brian Lin

Brian Lin has worked in the data science and machine learning field since 2010. Brian began their career as a Bioinformatics Research Assistant at Neale Lab in 2010. In 2014, they worked as a Bioinformatics Intern at Genentech and as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Santa Cruz Genomics Institute. Brian then completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Insight Data Science in 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they held roles as a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist / ML Modeler at Block, and is currently a Data Science Consultant at MoBagel.

Brian Lin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Genetics and Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. Brian then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioinformatics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
