Robert Ehrl

Robert Ehrl, Ph.D. has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Robert has held various leadership roles in companies such as Moberg Pharma AB and Valneva Sweden AB. At Valneva Sweden AB, they served as the Director of Manufacturing Operations, overseeing the production of vaccines and leading a team of over 50 employees. Robert also served as the Head of Bulk Production, managing the production of biological APIs and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. Prior to that, they worked at AstraZeneca Process R&D, where they held positions such as Associate Director Process Chemistry and Team Manager Process Chemistry. Robert led teams of chemists and engineers, overseeing project portfolios and driving performance towards business objectives. Robert also established a cross-functional production unit and was responsible for the supply of API for early clinical trials. Dr. Robert Ehrl completed their education in the field of Organic Chemistry. Robert obtained their PhD from the University of Regensburg from 1995 to 1997. Following that, they pursued a PostDoc degree at the Karolinska Institutet, specializing in Organic Chemistry from 1997 to 1999.
