Job Description The warehouse associate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the receiving, storing, and shipping of goods in a warehouse environment. They must maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of the warehouse operations.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Running state-of-the-art testing equipment for consumer electronics
  • Refurbishing electronic devices by cleaning and replacing parts
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of units, verifying their quantity and quality against purchase orders or delivery documents using RF handheld devices
  • Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document any instances
  • Build boxes and cartons
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling units
  • Unload, unpack, and stock incoming merchandise in designated storage areas following established inventory procedures
  • Put away units using pallet jacks
  • Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts and unit condition.
  • Assist in conducting periodic audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment at all times
  • Perform regular inventory counts to reconcile physical stock with system records and identify discrepancies
  • Inventory tracking as products move through the warehouse
  • Fill and check intake forms/Documentation
  • Maintain daily inventory logs
  • Equipment maintenance and upkeep
  • Scan items into the inventory management system
  • Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to fulfill orders, resolve issues, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality, arriving on time and adhering to work schedules and break times

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to Put away and pull equipment and/or parts.
  • Inventory organization and maintenance skills
  • Capable of unassisted heavy lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Capable of putting away and pulling equipment and/or parts
  • Ability of building relation with management to ensure key objectives are realized
  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, minimizing instances of absences or tardiness

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 plus year of industrial forklift experience is strongly preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience within a warehouse environment
