Safia Khan

Safia Khan is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Crisis Clinician at NorthShore University HealthSystem since August 2021 and as a Clinical Behavioral Therapist at Mobile Therapy Centers of America since February 2019. Khan has previously held crisis clinician roles at BETHANY HOMES AND METHODIST HOSPITAL OF CHICAGO and Thorek Memorial Hospital, focusing on pre-screening patients in emergency departments and addressing various human service needs. At Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System, Khan worked as a Clinical Intake Counselor, providing intake services and assessing patient risks. Khan co-founded Getting Your Other Half, enhancing sales and marketing initiatives, and has also worked as an In-Patient Psychotherapist at Hartgrove Behavioral Health System. An intern at Adler Community Health Services, Khan developed anti-bullying programs and provided counseling to students. Khan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University, with additional studies ongoing.
