Stark Riedesel

Stark Riedesel has over 13 years of work experience in the field of security engineering and software development. Stark'smost recent role was as a Security Engineer at MobileCoin, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Gemini as a Staff Application Security Engineer, where they led blockchain and DeFi security assessments for internal and external projects from September 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Gemini, Stark was a Senior Security Engineer at Google from March 2020 to September 2021.

Stark also has experience in consulting, having worked at Synopsys Inc as an Associate Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant. In these roles, they performed various security activities such as penetration testing, architecture analysis, source code review, and project management. Stark was also involved in researching blockchain security and was a delivery lead for enterprise blockchain security assessments. Stark joined Synopsys Inc in January 2016 and left in March 2020.

Stark started their career as an Associate Consultant at Cigital, Inc in January 2016, before moving on to work as a Cyber Engineer II at Raytheon from August 2014 to January 2016. Stark's early work experience includes being a Researcher at Southern Methodist University, where they conducted research on biometric applications and developed software solutions. Stark also worked as a Software Developer at myFootpath in 2010. Stark obtained their Master's degree from Southern Methodist University, where they published a thesis on scaling iris-recognition using cloud-based distributed computing.

Throughout their career, Stark has gained expertise in security engineering, blockchain security, software development, and biometric applications.

Stark Riedesel holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science, which they obtained from Southern Methodist University in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, they also hold a certification in Security+ from CompTIA, which they obtained in October 2015.
