David Garrido Reyes

David Garrido Reyes has a diverse work experience in the fields of data science, machine learning, and software development. David has served as an Experienced Data Scientist at Mobileum since 2019, where they manage machine learning projects, develops ML models in the collections and fraud context, and focuses on ML prototyping and R&D. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist (ATAM) at Telefónica from 2017 to 2019, where they conducted R&D in the healthcare sector, managed the ETL cycle, and provided actionable insights for risk prevention companies and insurance mutuals. David also worked as a Modelling Analyst at BAYES FORECAST from 2016 to 2017, where they were involved in consultancy projects and carried out tasks related to ETL cycle, data mining, and software development. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at BRECA Health Care S.L. in 2015, where they developed computational geometry algorithms and expanded the functionalities of 3D bioprinter software.

David Garrido Reyes obtained a BSc and MSc (Licenciatura) in Physics with a specialty in Theoretical Physics from Universidad de Granada. David attended the university from 2004 to 2013. David later pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in FisyMat, specializing in Biomathematics and Complex Systems from Universidad de Granada and completed it in 2014. Additionally, David has obtained several certifications including Executive Data Science from Johns Hopkins University in February 2022, Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in June 2019, and various Coursera Course Certificates in Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and R Programming in 2016.
