Vishal Gandhi

Vishal Gandhi has a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry. Vishal'smost recent role was as the Vice President of Products at Mobileum, where they have been since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the same role from September 2017 to March 2021. Before joining Mobileum, Vishal served as the Sr. Director Engineering and Sr. Director EU Roaming Regulation Portfolio at Mobileum from September 2014 to August 2017. Vishal also worked as the Business Line Head at Mobileum from July 2012 to August 2014 and as the Sr. Engineering Manager from April 2009 to June 2012.

Earlier in their career, Vishal worked at Veraz Networks (Dialogic) as a Sr. Software Engineer from November 2005 to July 2008. Vishal was responsible for the delivery of SS7 and Call Control in Class 4 Softswitch, as well as the design and development of a MAP Gateway for optimal routing.

Vishal also worked as a Software Consultant at Polaris Wireless from June 2005 to November 2005, where they provided consulting services.

In addition, Vishal served as a Technical Lead/Manager at Spatial Wireless (Alcatel Lucent) from April 2004 to June 2005. In this role, they led the Mobility Management team for 2G/3G wireless softswitch for WLAN support and managed a team for integration testing and support for UMTS trials in China.

Before that, Vishal worked as a Module Lead at Bharti Telesoft (Mahindra Comviva) from February 2001 to April 2004, where they were responsible for the design and development of the Equipment Identity Register (EIR), RoamProxy/IMSI Translation System, and a Prepaid Charging System.

Vishal's career in the telecommunications industry began at the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), where they worked as a Research Engineer from August 1999 to February 2001. In this role, they were involved in the design and development of the Home Location Register (HLR/AuC).

Vishal Gandhi began their education in 1995 at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science. Vishal studied at this institution until 1999. During the same period, they also attended the Regional Engineering College in Kurukshetra (NIT), where they obtained another B.Tech. degree, this time in Computer Engineering.
