Liulin Deng

Principal Scientist at MOBILion Systems

Liulin Deng began their career as a graduate student at the University of Science and Technology of China, where they developed a VUV photoionization/photodissociation time-of-flight mass spectrometer. Liulin then worked as a Product Manager at Jiangsu Skyray Instrument Co., Ltd., managing the development of an ESI-TOF mass spectrometer. Subsequently, they joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong as a Ph.D. student, focusing on ion funnel technology. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate B at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, where they focused on ion mobility-mass spectrometry. Currently, they are a Principal Scientist at MOBILion Systems, Inc., leading new technologies development in ion mobility spectrometry.

Liulin Deng completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at China University of Petroleum (中国石油大学(华东)) in 2007. Liulin then obtained a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2010.
