Aleksandr Movchan

Aleksandr Movchan has been working in the computer vision engineering field since 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Lecturer and Assistant at South Ural State University (SUSU). In 2015, they were a Programmer at the Data Mining and Virtualization Department of Supercomputer Simulation Laboratory SUSU. In 2016, they were a Data Scientist (Machine Learning, Deep Learning) at PressFoto Image Agency, where they designed and implemented a full pipeline of new machine learning models, including web scraping, data storages, data preprocessing, training models (mostly deep learning models), and micro services. In 2017, they were a Computer Vision Engineer at EyeEm, where they designed and implemented new machine learning models for photo aesthetics assessment. In 2018, they became a Computer Vision Engineer and Co-Founder at Mobius Labs GmbH.

Aleksandr Movchan received a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from South Ural State University (SUSU) from 2010 to 2014. Aleksandr then obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology from SUSU from 2014 to 2016. In February 2014, they also received a certification in Bioinformatics Algorithms from Coursera Course Certificates.
