Daniel Odoyo has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Mechanical Technician at Wrigley, where they identified and rectified faults on all equipment, overhauled machine and gear components, maintained conveyor and packaging equipment, and serviced automated machinery on production lines. In 2014, they became a Maintenance Technician Specialist at Isuzu East Africa Limited, where they administered common systems and processes which supported maintenance activities across the plant. In 2017, they became a Project Management Consultant at Consultancy Ltd, providing oversight and leadership in executing projects from planning to completion. Also in 2017, they became a Plant Engineer at Afrimac Nut Company, where they established standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection and maintenance of equipment according to engineering principles and safety regulations. Finally, in 2018, they became a Production & Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Manager at Mobius Motors.

Daniel Odoyo has a Master's degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university.
