Linda Kalata

Linda has been a registered nurse for 37 years with experience in surgical and intensive care nursing. Roles have included staff education, staff management and operating room department management. The bulk of this time has been spent in ophthalmic surgery nursing, education, and skills transfer. Her passion for ophthalmic nursing and teaching led to working with Orbis International, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting blindness worldwide. With Orbis, she traveled to 16 countries, training doctors and nurses on ophthalmic surgery and clinical care of patients with various eye conditions.

Linda holds a BSN from the University of Illinois- Chicago and is CNOR – a Certified Nurse of the Operating Room.
