Varun Gupta

Varun Gupta is an accomplished finance leader with extensive experience in various high-level financial roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at MoCaFi since May 2023, Varun previously functioned as a Consulting CFO for early-stage startups, advising on capital raise and strategic finance matters. Prior to these roles, Varun was Head of Finance at Solid, successfully securing a $63 million Series-B investment. Varun's tenure at Citi spanned nearly seven years, culminating in a Director position and significant achievements in structuring and delivering end-to-end credit solutions for clients in the TMT sector. Previous roles include VP at HSBC and Analyst at American Express, demonstrating a strong background in corporate banking and strategic planning. Varun holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, along with relevant qualifications from McMaster University and a BCom from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
