Elizabeth Cook (Byrd)

Elizabeth Cook (Byrd) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of public relations and social media management. Elizabeth currently holds the position of Senior PR & Social Media Manager at Mod Op since 2016. In this role, they oversee PR and social media efforts, leads the Dallas PR and social media team, develops organic and paid social media strategies, manages media relations, and builds relationships with key influencers. Elizabeth also works closely with ExxonMobil LNG to promote their Power Play initiative and Power Play Awards.

Before joining Mod Op, Elizabeth worked at MCC, which was later acquired by Mod Op. As a PR & Social Media Manager at MCC from 2018 to 2020, they managed the Dallas PR and social media team, developed social media strategies, and facilitated relationships with key influencers. Prior to that, they served as a Senior PR & Social Media Strategist and PR & Social Media Strategist at MCC from 2016 to 2018.

Elizabeth started their career at Saxum in 2014 as an Account Coordinator, where they provided clients with planning, research, writing, and strategic efforts. Elizabeth also served as a Graduate Fellow, assisting in content production, media relations, social media, and public relations services.

In 2013, Elizabeth gained experience as a Public Relations/Marketing Intern at Creative Oklahoma, where they assisted in event planning and production, news releases, direct mail pieces, and website verbiage.
