Patrick Nichols

Patrick Nichols is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Vista Equity Partners since September 2024, Patrick is also actively involved as a Board Advisor and CEO at Quest Software, shaping its global strategic direction. Previously, Patrick held board memberships at organizations such as Cornerstone OnDemand, Vector Capital Management, Accolite, and CloudSense, while also contributing to the St. Andrew's Endowment Committee. Patrick's past experience includes serving as CEO of Corel Corporation, where strategic acquisitions enhanced the company’s brand portfolio. Earlier positions include General Manager roles at Versata and Trilogy Software, with a foundational education in Computer Science from Cornell University.
