Dr. Kayla DeShane, DAcOM, LAc

Dr. Kayla DeShane has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role as the Regional Clinical Director & Lead Acupuncturist at Modern Acupuncture since June 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Licensed Acupuncturist at Rx Acupuncture & Wellness from December 2017 to June 2018. In 2013, Dr. DeShane worked as an Ophthalmic Technician at Brian B. Berger, M.D. and Associates for a duration of eight months. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Research Assistant at UTEX The Culture Collection of Algae. Finally, Dr. DeShane started their career as an Operations Manager at AMC Theatres from November 2007 to August 2009.

Dr. Kayla DeShane, DAcOM, LAc, obtained a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition Sciences. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Nutrition/Dietetic from utexas-cns.
