Avi Soloman

Avi Soloman is the current Head of Product at Modern Animal. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at IDEXX from December 2018 to April 2019, and before that, at atdove.org from August 2013 to April 2017. In their previous role as the Director of Information Technology at DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital, they oversaw the development of the product, ensured customer support, and established benchmarks.

Avi Soloman received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Computer Science from Portland State University. Avi then went on to complete a Veterinary Technician Program at DoveLewis, followed by a Veterinary Assistant Program at VetMedTeam. Avi is also certified by the California State Parks as a California Boater, and by the Portland Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) as a Volunteer Urban Search and Rescue Team Member and Licensed Radio Operator. In addition, they are certified by EpiCore Disease Surveillance as a Certified EpiCore Member, by Portland Community College as a Veterinary Technology Radiation Safety, and by the Federal Communications Commission as an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator. Finally, they are certified by the Oregon Veterinary Medical Examining Board as a Certified Veterinary Technician and by the American Red Cross in CPR and First Aid.
