Ajwa Hijazi

Ajwa Hijazi is a dedicated research professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS) since November 2022. In addition to this role, Ajwa has been a Freelance Contributor for Modern Diplomacy since October 2019 and a Freelance Writer for both Strafasia and Eurasia Review since April and October 2019, respectively. Previous experience includes a term as Secretary General for the Character Building Society from October 2018 to October 2020 and a brief tenure as an Administrative Assistant at the Government Staff Training College of TEVTA in mid-2020. Ajwa holds an MPhil in Peace and Conflict Studies from NDU Islamabad, completed in October 2023, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Defense and Diplomatic Studies from Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi in October 2020.
