Nyala Walker

Nyala Walker is an experienced educator currently serving as the History and AP Social Studies Instructor at Modern English School Cairo since August 2020, where responsibilities include middle and high school history instruction, grade 8 team leadership, and head of house duties. Previous roles include IB MYP and DP History Instructor at Kaohsiung American School, along with directing Model United Nations, and serving as Rehabilitation Clinician at Community Connections, Inc. Nyala Walker's teaching experience also encompasses positions as a Humanities Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools and Prince George's County Public Schools. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maryland. Further professional development occurred at the University of Amsterdam in 2019.
