Katie Lyon has more than 15 years of experience as a cross-functional leader and executive. She is passionate about partnering with C-suite leaders, across sectors and functions, to tailor advisory and talent solutions and optimize performance. She is client-centric and growth-oriented, with specific expertise in executive leadership, marketing, human resources, education, public sector, and non-profit roles.

Prior to Modern, Katie built and led a market sector within the leading advisory firm, Gallup, as Managing Director. In her role, she led a team and P&L, achieving top client retention scores and record-setting results to build a circa $23M division. She led the business effort to launch a now best-selling book and offering, CliftonStrengths for Students, and contributed regularly to thought leadership on talent strategy and workplace engagement.
