Ela Sathern has extensive work experience in the media industry. Ela started their career as an Associate Editor at Reed Business Information in 1995 and worked there until 2000. Ela then joined Summit Media Group, Inc. as a Senior Editor/Online, responsible for managing content for Packworld.com and the bimonthly e-newsletter. Ela also contributed to the print edition's Web Plus department. In 2002, they transitioned to Dowden Health Media as a Managing Editor and worked there until 2005. Ela'smost recent role was at Modern Luxury Media, where they held various positions including Editorial Operations Director, Editor-in-Chief, and Group Managing Editor.
Ela Sathern obtained their Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Illinois State University, graduating in 1995. Ela pursued further education and earned a Master's degree in Journalism from Roosevelt University in 2001.
