The team at Modern Synthesis has a wide range of experiences in both the public and private sectors. They have worked as advisors, researchers, and assistants in companies such as Puraffinity, Imperial College London, and the University of Cambridge. They have also been creative residents at Bolt Threads and The Mills Fabrica, and have worked in material design at Adidas. In terms of education, the team is composed of individuals with degrees in fields such as biological sciences, synthetic biology, and material futures.
