Christine K. Ward

Christine K. Ward serves as the Vice President and Head of Translational Medicine for Therapeutics at Moderna, focusing on advancing transformational medicines for patients with high unmet medical needs. Previously, Christine held positions at Takeda as Vice President and Senior Director in Oncology and Cell Therapy Precision & Translational Medicine, where significant contributions were made to building an innovative organization and leading global translational initiatives. With experience at Bristol Myers Squibb, MedImmune (AstraZeneca), Centocor R&D, Johnson & Johnson PRD, and a foundation in microbiology and immunology from UT Southwestern Medical Center, Christine's expertise spans translational medicine, biomarker strategy, and drug development across various therapeutic areas.
